Apple's 4-inch iPhone rumored to be called iPhone 5e
Apple is reportedly working on a 4-inch iPhone and we have been hearing details and rumors of the device since past few months. Now According to a new report rumor Apple's 4-inch iPhone will be called iPhone 5e.
As per the report, the Apple iPhone 5e will be equipped with A8 SoC, instead of A9 which was reported earlier. The RAM will be 1GB, and the device will come in two storage models - 16GB and 64GB. The main camera unit will be 8-megapixel.
The report further states that iPhone 5e will support Apple Pay and VoLTE (Voice over LTE) for high quality phone calls. To sum up, the report states that the 4-inch iPhone 5e is currently in production at Foxconn and is expected to be released in March.
In China, the iPhone 5e is expected to be priced at CNY 3,288 which is roughly $500 or Rs. 33,000. If the report is true, the 4-inch iPhone could be targeted at emerging market.
Earlier reports claimed that the 4-inch iPhone will resemble an upgraded iPhone 5s, sporting a metal body with iPhone 6s style design and a 2D cover glass with curved edges.
