Asus ZenFone Max with 5000mAh battery now available in India for Rs. 9,999


Asus started taking pre-orders for the ZenFone Max earlier this month via Amazon India, Flipkart and Snapdeal. Now the ZenFone Max is available for purchase in the country from both online and offline retail channels including the Asus Exclusive stores as well. The ZenFone Max is priced at Rs. 9,999.

Asus also plans to expand the offline presence of its devices in the country by expanding Asus exclusive stores to 30,000 by the end of 2016. By the end of 2015 the company only had 100 stores.

To recap, Asus unveiled the ZenFone Max at last year's ZenFestival in India. The main highlight of the ZenFone Max is its 5000mAh battery capacity that promises 914 hours of standby time and up to 38 hours of talktime. It also doubles up as power bank to charge other devices.

Other feature includes 5.5-inch 720p display with Corning Gorilla Glass 4 protection, quad-core Snapdragon 410 SoC with Adreno 306 GPU, 2GB RAM, 16GB expandable storage, 13MP rear camera (w/ LED flash) and 5MP front shooter. It supports 4G LTE connectivity, dual SIM and runs Android 5.0 Lollipop with Zen UI 2.0 on top.
