FiiO X7 Android based audio player launched in India for Rs. 49,999


China based audio devices maker FiiO has launched its latest flagship digital audio player, the FiiO X7 in India. Even though nowadays, most of us play music on our smartphone, but the high-end X7 audio player is aimed at audiophiles who expect the best music playback experience.

The audio player sports a aluminium alloy casing for a durable and premium design, and offers customisable mapping for left-right hand control and symmetrical button design. It has a total of six buton, 3 on each side, which could be mapped to left or right hand use depending on users comfort.

The FiiO X7 comes with a 4-inch 480p touchscreen display and runs Android 4.4 KitKat. It packs quad-core Rockchip RK3188 SoC and the ESS ES9018S digital-analogue converter, which is capable of working with 32-bit/384kHz audio files It comes with 1GB RAM and 32GB inbuilt storage, which can be increased up to 128GB via microSD card. There is also WiFi and Bluetooth connectivity support and is fueled by 3500mAh battery, which is rated to deliver nine hours of audio playback.

It supports high-resolution sounds including FLAC, WAV, ALAC, Mp3, OGG and more, as well as new formats like DXD, DSD 64/128 and PCM@384/64-bit. The Android OS can be used either in typical Android mode, or in Pure Music mode, which locks out all functions except the music player.

The FiiO X7 audio player is priced at Rs 49,999, but is being offered for Rs 42,999 as part of an introductory offer.
