Galaxy S7 edge with 5.1-inch display, Snapdragon 820 appears on AnTuTu benchmark

The soon to be released Samsung Galaxy S7 edge carrying the model number SM-G935A has been spotted in AnTuTu database. The benchmarking results add more weight to a recent report surrounding the Samsung's next flasgship.

The Galaxy S7 edge, that passed AnTuTu database, has a 5.1-inch Quad HD (2560 x 1440 pixels) display and is equipped with Snapdragon 820 SoC with Adreno 530 GPU and 4G RAM.

The device will come with 64GB internal storage. However, the listing does not mention presence of microSD card slot, which contradicts the report stating that Galaxy S7 and S7 edge, will accept microSD card up to 200GB. To remind you, the Galaxy S6 and S6 edge did not have a microSD card slot.

The main camera is 12-megapixel, while the front snapper is 5-megapixel. The 12MP main camera is expected to use Samsung's new BRITECELL technology, that promises better low-light performance and a wider dynamic range as compared to the Galaxy S6 and S6 edge's 16-megapixel camera. The Android version it runs on is Android 6.0 Marshmallow. That' all AnTuTu listing revealed.

Samsung's 2016 flagship, the Galaxy S7 and S7 edge are expected to be launched in February at MWC.
