HTC One M10 may have SD-820, MediaTek SoC variants, likely to launch in March


A few things known of HTC's upcoming flagship, the One M10 is that, it is codenamed 'Perfume' and will runs Android 6.1 with HTC Sense 8.0 UI on top. 

Now according to a new report, HTC will not be unveiling the One M10 at this year's MWC in February, instead plans to hold a dedicated event in March to launch the One M10. Rumors also suggest that the One M10 will come in two versions. The information comes from LIabTooFeR who has has provided reliable HTC-related leaks in the past.

According to LIabTooFeR, the HTC One M10 will arrive in two hardware variant- one with Qualcomm's Snapdragon 820 and the other with MediaTek SoC. It is not known which MediaTek SoC One M10 will be utilising. The Snapdragon 820 SoC variant of One M10 will be for the U.S and EU market, while the MediaTek SoC variant will be for the China and South-East Asian market.

As for the specs, the rumor mill suggests that the One M10 will be equipped with a 23-megapixel rear camera, fingerprint sensor and 3000mAh battery. It will be IP68 rated for water and dust resistance.
