vivo Y51L with 5-inch display, 4G LTE launched in India for Rs. 11,980
The vivo Y51 was launched in China last month and now the Chinese brand has launched the same smartphone in India as Y51L. vivo said that the phone will be assembled at its manufacturing plant in Greater Noida, which became operational last year. However, the specs of Y51L is identical to Y51.
The vivo Y51L features 5-inch qHD (540 x 960 pixels) IPS display and is powered by a 64-bit quad-core Snapdragon 410 processor clocked at 1.2GHz, aided by an Adreno 306 GPU and 2GB RAM. On-board storage capacity is 16GB, which can be further expanded up to 128GB via microSD card.
For imaging, it is equipped with 8-megapixel rear camera accompanied with an LED flash and for clicking selfies you get a 5-megapixel front shooter. Some of the camera features include Night mode, HDR, Panorama and Face Beauty modes. The rear camera can record 1080p videos.
The dual SIM phone runs FunTouch OS based Android 5.1 Lollipop and supports 4G LTE, 3G, WiFi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.0 and GPS. Under the hood there is a 2350mAh battery. The phone sports 7.52mm slim body with a metal frame and the smartphone has a mirror finish on the back.
The vivo Y51L is priced at Rs. 11,980, which is much higher compared to other smartphones that offer same specs, but at lower price.
