Xiaomi Mi Pad gets a permanent price, now available for Rs. 10,999
The Xiaomi Mi Pad has received a permanent price cut of Rs. 2,000 and is now available for Rs. 10,999 in India. The tablet is now be exclusively purchased from Mi.com and Flipkart.com.

We are happy to make the Mi Pad even more accessible to fans now. We also feel privileged to have a great partner like Flipkart to reach out to a wider set of people."
The price cut of Mi Pad also hints that we can expect the Mi Pad 2 to land in India. Just yeseterday, Xiaomi announced that, it will launch the Redmi Note 3 (or Pro) in the country soon. So we can expect both products to launch simultaneously. This is a wild guess, so take it with a pinch of salt.
To recap, Xiaomi Mi Pad was launched in India in March 2015 at Rs. 12,500. The tablet offers 7.9-inch 1536 x 2048 IPS LCD display, 2.2GHz Tegra K1 processor with 192-core Kepler GPU, 2GB RAM, 16GB expandable storage, 8MP rear camera, 5MP front camera, WiFi, Bluetooth 4.0, USB OTG and 6700mAh battery.
