Apple is reportedly holding its next media event on March 15, where it will introduce the iPhone 5se and iPad Air 3. Now a new reports says that Apple will start selling the iPhone 5se and iPad Air 3 three days later on March 18, that falls in the same week as the media event. It looks like there will not be any pre-order period for both the Apple devices.

"Apple is currently planning to introduce a new 4-inch iPhone dubbed the "iPhone 5se" and a new iPad Air at an event on Tuesday, March 15th, then put the products up for sale online and in retail stores as early as Friday, March 18th, according to sources. Apple is unlikely to offer pre-orders for the new devices, according to sources who cautioned that the plans could still change."  reported 9to5Mac.

The iPhone 5se will take after the iPhone 5s, but will have improved hardware and borrow design cues from iPhone 6/6s. It will sport 4-inch display and be equipped with A9 or A9 SoC (M8/M9 co-processor), with NFC support for Apple Pay, 8MP rear camera, 1.3MP front camera and have a barometer that will help the Health app check for changes in elevation. The iPhone 5se will come with Live Photos app, but will not feature the 3D Touch functionality. It is rumored to come in four colors - Space Gray, Silver, Gold and Rose Gold colors.

The iPad Air 3 could be a mini variant of iPad Pro, as it is rumored to have a design similar to the iPad Pro with the 4 speaker layout and the Smart Keyboard support. It will feature 9.7-inch display, A9 processor, an upgraded camera with LED flash.

Apple will also introduce a range of new band color options for the Apple Watch, including new bands from Hermes, a French company that produces fashion-centric luxury accessories a Space Black variant of the Milanese Loop, and some other bands made of a new material.
