Galaxy S7 Edge accidentally confirmed on Samsung's website

It is now safe to assume that Samsung will be introducing the Galaxy S7 and S7 edge at its February 21 Unpacked Event. However ahead of the even, Samsung has confirmed the existence of one of the device, the Galaxy S7 edge on their website.

Samsung's developer website has a new section about the edge screen functionality and the Galaxy S7 edge is listed along with Galaxy S6 edge and S6 edge+. The section shows how the smartphone's curved screen can be used. However, Samsung has removed the reference of the Galaxy S7 edge on the website, and the table now shows only the Galaxy S6 models.

The leak also reveals that the edge will have both narrow type mode, also called Edge Single, same as the Galaxy S6 edge models, and the Edge Single Plus that offers wider experience, with the curved edge screen offering more information at a single glance. The Edge Single Plus can be used in three ways - Quick Access, Quick View and Quick Control. It is being rumored that Samsung will bring new apps and features that can be launched from the curved screen.
