Google Translate adds support for 13 new languages bringing total to 103


Google has added support for 13 new language to its translate service, bringing the total languages supported to 103. The newly-added languages include Amharic, Corsican, Frisian, Kyrgyz, Hawaiian, Kurdish (Kurmanji), Luxembourgish, Samoan, Scots Gaelic, Shona, Sindhi, Pashto, and Xhosa.

Google said that the addition of these languages brings Translate to 120 million people around the world, and the Translate service no covers 99 percent of the online population. All of this was made possible through combination of machine learning and contributions for the Translate community.

Google Translate is a free tool that allows you to translate words or sentences from one language to other. You can use the it on Android and iOS devices to type in over 100 different languages or hand write phrases in 90 languages.
