Apple iPad Air 2 gets price cut, now starts at $399
Apple at its 'Let Us Loop You In' event on Monday, announced the 4-inch iPhone SE, a smaller iPad Pro, new Apple Watch watchbands and $50 price cut on Apple Watch which now starts at $299.
In addition, Apple also announced that it is dropping the price of iPad Air 2, which will now start from $399 for the 16GB model and $499 for the 64GB model. The WiFi + LTE variants are priced at $529 and $629 for the 16GB and 64GB storage model respectively.
The Apple Air 2 was launched in late 2014 and the specs include 9.7-inch 1536 x 2048 IPS LCD display with scratch-resistant glass and olephobic coating, Apple's A8X processor, 2GB RAM, 8MP rear camera, 1.2MP front camera, Fingerprint scanner and microSD card slot.
Meanwhile the iPad Mini prices will now start at $269.
