Dell XPS 12 2-in-1 tablet, XPS 13 ultrabook with Skylake processor launched in India


Following the launch of the new Latitude 12, Latitude 13, refreshed Latitude 3000, 5000, 7000 laptops in India, Dell has launched two new XPS series devices, the XPS 12, a 2-in-1 tablet and the refreshed XPS 13, the world's smallest 13-inch ultrabook. They run Windows 10, and are powered by Intel's Skylake processor and come with Cortana and Continuum software features.

The Dell XPS 12 is a 2-in-1 tablet comes with a magnetic attachable keyboard, when docked can be used as a Windows laptop. The 2-in-1 tablet sports a 12.5-inch 4K Ultra HD display and has edge-to-edge Corning Gorilla Glass protection. It can be confirgured with up to 6th generation intel Core m7 processor w/ Intel HD graphics, 8GB RAM, and up to 512GB SSD. It also gets 8MP rear camera, 5MP front camera with dual array digital microphone, 2 x Thunderbolt 3 enabled USB Type-C ports and comes with optional stylus pen support.

The Dell XPS 13 ultrabook features a 13.3-inch InfinityEdge display with a resolution of FHD (1080p) or QHD+ (3200 x 1800 pixels). The base model comes with sixth generation Intel Core i3 processor, 4GB RAM and 128GB SSD, while the top end model comes with sixth generation Intel Core i7 processor, 8GB RAM and 256GB SSD. Other features include 720p webcam and 2 x USB 3.0 ports. The 1080p variant can run for 18 hours on normal usage. 

The Dell XPS 12 2--in-1 tablet prices start at Rs. 1,24,990, while the XPS 13 ultrabook prices start at Rs. 76,900. Dell is also offering additional accessories for the new notebooks inclduing Dell Thunderbolt Dock TB15, Dock WD15 and Power Companion.
