Micromax Canvas Spark 3 launched for Rs. 4,999


Micromax, after listing the Canvas Spark 3 on its website earlier this month, has launched the handset in India. Priced at Rs. 4,999 the Canvas Spark 3 will be exclusively available through flash sale starting from April 7, for which the registration open on April 1. It comes in Black and Champagne Gold colors.

The Canvas Spark 3 is a major upgrade from Canvas Spark 2 has it comes with bigger and better display, upgraded RAM, storage, Camera and battery. 

The Micromax Canvas Spark 3 sports a 5.5-inch HD (1280 x 720 pixels) display and is powered by 1.3GHz quad-core processor with 1GB RAM and 8GB inbuilt expandable storage (up to 32GB via microSD card). It gets a 8-megapixel rear camera w/ LED flash and 5-megapixel front snapper. For connectivity, it supports dual-SIM, 3G HSPA+, WiFi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.0 and GPS. It is fueled by 2500mAh battery and features 1.5CC Box 2509 speakers at the back. 

For comparison, the Canvas Spark 2 featured 5-inch FWVGA display, 768MB RAM, 4GB internal storage, 5MP/2MP rear and front cameras, and a lower 1800mAh battery.

Earlier Micromax had claimed that the Canvas Spark 2 sold more than one million units in less than six months after launch. So will the Canvas Spark 3 be able to recreate the success?
