Panasonic T50 with 4.5-inch display, SAIL UI launched for Rs. 4,990
Panasonic has launched a new entry-level smartphone in India, the T50. The handset runs Android 5.1 Lollipop layered with Sail UI on top, which as per the brand is "smoothest Android user interface yet."
The SAIL UI offers features like gesture support, Theme Club with several theme and the ability to group apps based on genre and frequency of use. The UI also comes with nine beauty camera modes to tweak the images that include Pose mode, Child mode and Watermark and more.
Spec-wise, the Panasonic T50 sports a 4.5-inch FWVGA (854 x 480 pixels) IPS display and is equipped with 1.3GHz quad-core processor, 1GB RAM, 8GB inbuilt expandable storage (via microSD card up to 32GB), 5-megapixel rear camera (w/ LED flash) and 2-megapixel front camera. It includes dual-SIM tray, support for 3G, WiFi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.0 and GPS connectivity and is backed by 1600mAh battery.
The Panasonic T50 is priced at Rs. 4,990 and comes in Rose Gold, Champagne Gold and Midnight Blue color options. It'll soon be available via online and offline stores in the country.
