ZTE introduces the Blade D2 with 4000mAh battery
Chinese smartphone maker ZTE after unveiling Blade V7 and Blade V7 Lite handsets at MWC 2016, has added another device to the Blade lineup, the Blade D2. The handset is listed on ZTE's Thailand and Vietnam website.
The main highlight of the Blade D2 is its massive battery capacity, 4000mAh, that offers decent battery life, and also supports reverse charging which means, the handset doubles up as a power bank to charge other devices via USB OTG.
The ZTE Blade D2 sports a 5-inch (1280 x 720 pixels) IPS display and is powered by 1GHz quad-core MediaTek MT6735P 64-bit processor coupled with Mali-T720 GPU and 1GB RAM. On-board storage is 8GB, which can be expanded up to 64GB via microSD card.
For imaging there is 8-megapixel rear camera with LED flash and 5-megapixel front camera for clicking selfies and making video calls. The rear camera can record 1080p videos. (for Vietnam, 5MP rear camera & 2MP front camera).
The dual SIM phone runs Android 5.1 Lollipop and supports 4G LTE, 3G, WiFi 802.11b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.0 and GPS connectivity.
The ZTE Blade D2 is priced at VND 2,69,000 ($120 | Rs. 8,000) in Vietnam. ZTE Thailand does not reveal the pricing, and it is now known, when the handset will be available in both countries.
