Asus ZenFone Go 5.0 LTE launched in India for Rs. 7,999
Asus in December last year launched the ZenFone Go 4.5, sporting a 4.5-inch display in India, and now the brand has launched an upgraded model dubbed ZenFone Go 5.0 LTE (T5000) with 5-inch display and upgrades. There is another model with only 3G support, and specs of both models are diffrentiated in the battery, front camera processor and OS department.
The Asus ZenFone Go 5.0 LTE features 5-inch HD (1280 x 720 pixels) IPS display and is powered by 1.2GHz quad-core Snapdragon 410 processor paired with Adreno 306 GPU and 2GB RAM. On-board storage is 16GB, with the option of storage expansion via microSD card (up to 32GB). It runs the dated Android 4.4 KitKat which is one of the disappointing feature of the phone.
For photography, it gets an 8-megapixel rear camera with LED flash and 5-megapixel front camera. Connectivity duties on the dual-SIM phone are handled by 4G LTE/3G, WiFi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.0 and GPS. It is backed by a 2500mAh battery.
The 3G variant of ZenFone Go 5.0 comes with 1.3GHz quad-core MT6580 SoC w/ Mali 400 GPU, 2-megapixel front camera packs 2070mAh battery, and runs Android 5.1 Lollipop.
The Asus ZenFone Go 5.0 LTE is priced at Rs. 7,999 and is available from Amazon India, and will soon be available from Snapdeal. The 3G variant is now available from Flipkart and is priced at 6,999.
