Intex Aqua G2 entry-level Android smartphone launched for Rs. 1,990

Intex has launched a new entry-level compact smartphone, Aqua G2. It comes with dual-SIM slot and runs the out dated Android 4.2.2 Jelly Bean. Unfortunately it does not support 3G connectivity. Intex says that with Aqua G2, "we are targeting feature phone users who are yet to switch to smartphones."

The Intex Aqua G2 sports a 2.8-inch QVGA (320 x 240 pixels) LCD display and is powered by single-core RDA 8810PL 32-bit processor coupled with Vivante GC860 GPU and 256MB RAM, along with 512MB internal storage, which can be increased via microSD card (up to 32GB). It gets a VGA rear (w/ LED flash) and front facing camera, and supports 2G EDGE, WiFi 802.11 b/g/n and Bluetooth 2.1. It is backed by 1100mAh battery, which claims up-to 5 hours talk-time and standby time of 5-6 days.

The Intex Aqua G2 is priced at Rs. 1,990 and comes in Grey and Champagne colors. It will be made available in the coming days.
