LG to launch two K-series smartphone in India on April 14


LG has scheduled a press event on April 14 in India, where it will launch the K-series smartphone in the country. The invite says that LG will launch two new 4G-enabled K-series smartphone. There are currently a total of five smartphones in the K-series – K4, K5, K7, K8 and K10, but according to media reports that Indian market is expected to get the K7 and K10.

LG announced the K-series line up at CES 2016, the first two phone in the series being the K7 and K10. LG said the K-series phones come with 'advance camera technology' and a new design called Glossy Pebble, that is complemented by 2.5D Arc Glass. Both phones run on Android 5.1 Lollipop.

To recap the specs, the LG K7 comes with 5-inch FWVGA display, 1.1GHz quad-core processor, 1GB/1.5GB RAM, 8GB/16GB inbuilt expandable storage, 8MP or 5MP rear camera w/ LED flash, 5MP front camera and 2125mAh battery.

The specs of K10 include 5.5-inch 720p display, 1.2GHz quad-core SoC, 2GB RAM, 8GB/16GB internal storage (expandable via microSD card), 13MP rear w/ LED flash, 8MP/5MP front and a 2300mAh battery.
