Moto G4 Plus with physical home button/fingerprint scanner surfaces

Motorola's popular mid-range 'Moto G' series is about to be expanded soon. Possible images of the next gen Moto G smartphone, reportedly called Moto G4 Plus have surface online.

The image shows that the Moto G4 Plus has a square shaped physical home button, which could double up as a fingerprint scanner. Also there is a small hole near the home button which is the microphone.

At the back, we can see the camera module, and just below it there is an dual-LED flash module. There are two dots above the camera, which could be Laser Auto focus. The camera setup looks similar to what we have seen on earlier Moto devices. The Moto batwing logo also stays at the back.

It is worth noting that, an earlier leaked image claimed to show the Moto X3, resembles the Moto G4 Plus seen in the new image.

Meanwhile, a separate leak suggests that there will be two Moto G4 models. The standard model Moto G4 will have a 5.5-inch display, 16GB inbuilt storage and 13-megapixel rear camera. The model which is in the image, the Moto G4 Plus will also have 5.5-inch display and 16GB internal storage, but will sports a higher 16-megapixel rear camera.

The leak also adds that the Moto G4 will be priced 240 Euro ($271 | Rs. 18,000) , while the Moto G4 Plus will cost 280 Euro ($316 | Rs. 21,000), which is much higher than the earlier Moto G models. The official announcement of these phones are expected in May.
