Samsung is reportedly working on a new C series smartphone, and the first two phones under the new series will be the Galaxy C5 (SM-C5000) and Galaxy C7 (SM-C7000). Earlier this month the Galaxy C5 took a trip to Geekbench3 benchmarks revealing that the phone will pack Snapdragon 617 SoC, 4GB RAM and run Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow.

Now the Galaxy C5 has surfaced in GFXbench, that confirms these specs, plus outs additional details. In addition to Snapdragon 617 SoC and 4GB RAM, the Galaxy C7 will have a 5.5-inch 1080p display, 32GB inbuilt-expandable storage, 16MP rear camera w/ LED flash, 8MP front camera w/ LED flash, 4G LTE, NFC and fingerprint scanner.

It is worth noting that the specs of the Galaxy C5 are same as Galaxy C7 that surfaced on AnTuTu. However, it looks the the difference will be in the display size. The Galaxy C7 will have a slightly bigger 5.7-inch display.

The Samsung C-series family are expected to sport a metal unibody design. Details of the launch date is not known yet.
