Samsung outs Pink Gold Galaxy S7, Galaxy S7 edge
Samsung has released a new Pink Gold color variant of Galaxy S7/S7 edge, targeted at women. Samsung says that the Pink Gold color offers the Galaxy S7/S7 edge a charming look and gives it an elegant depth. The Pink Gold color version will join the other four color variants - Black, White, Platinum Gold and Silver.
The Pink Gold Galaxy S7 and Galaxy S7 edge are priced at 836,000 Won ($737 | Rs. 48,900) and 924,000 Won ($815 | Rs. 54,000) accordingly and are available in South Korea Korea stating from today. They will also be released in other "select markets"
Regarding the new Pink Gold Galaxy S7 and Galaxy S7 edge versions, Samsung said: "Pink Gold was chosen as it, like the other colors available for the Galaxy S7 and S7 edge, is a natural color that provides a sense of comfort. These hues glitter and shimmer as if illuminated from inside their glass surfaces. In particular, the refined, skin tone-inspired Pink Gold color scheme is intended to soothe and incorporate a touch of gentleness, radiance and sophistication to the smartphones’ design."
Specifications of Galaxy S7/Galaxy S7 edge
The Samsung Galaxy S7 and Galaxy S7 edge comes with 3D glass and metal design, microSD card slot and are rated waterproof and dust resistant. Both have improved low-light camera that has extremely fast auto focus.
The Galaxy S7 and S7 edge come with 5.1-inch and 5.5-inch curved (accordingly) Quad HD Super AMOLED always on displays. They are equipped with Exynos 8 Octa 8890 SoC/Snadragon 820 SoC (depending on region), 4GB RAM, 32GB/64GB storage, 12MP Dual pixel rear camera (w/ LED flash, OIS, 4K video recording) and 5MP front camera. The Galaxy S7 packs 3000mAh battery, while the Galaxy S7 edge has a larger 3600mAh battery, with both supporting Fast Charge tech. They runs Android 6.0 Marshmallow.
