Two 4.6-inch Sony smartphones surface on GFXBench

Sony is reportedly working on two new compact sized smartphones. Two Sony smartphones with model number F3216 and F3311 have surfaced in GFXBench benchmarks, outing key specs. Even though the phones are of compact sizes w/ 4.6-inch display they pack decent specs. Both comes with MediaTek chipset while the F3216 appears to be a camera-centric device.

AS per the listing the Sony F3216 will sports a 4.6-inch 1080 display and equipped with MediaTek Helio P10 (MT6755) SoC backed by Mali T860 GPU and 2GB RAM. It will house 16GB inbuilt expandable storage, and run Android Marshmallow. It will come with 21MP rear camera and 16MP front camera. It come with Dual SIM slot (depending on market) and will support 4G LTE.

The Sony F3311 on the other hand comes with 4.6-inch 720p display, MediaTek MT6735 SoC w/ Mali T720 GPU, 1.5GB RAM, 16GB on-board expandable storage, 13MP rear camera and 5MP front camera. It supports Dual SIM (depending on market), 4G LTE and runs Android Marshmallow.

The display size of F3216 could be different since the display details in GFXbench are not always correct. Additionally Sony is working on a C and M series smartphone, so this model number along with F3311could belong to one of them. We can expect more details to surface in the coming weeks.
