vivo V3, V3 Max launched in India


vivo has launched two new high-end smartphones in India, the vivo V3 and V3 Max that boasts of a premium metallic design. At the launch event vivo announced actor Ranveer Singh as its brand ambassador.

The V3 and V3 Max have dual-SIM slots, run Funtouch OS 2.5 based on Android 5.1 Lollipop and gets a Hi-Fi audio that offers clear and crisp sound out put. They come with a feature called screen-split that allows users to chat and watch videos simultaneously on the screen. They also include fingerprint scanner at the back, which can unlock the devices as fast as 0.2 seconds.

The vivo V3 sports a 5-inch HD (1280 x 720 pixels) display and is equipped with octa-core Snapdragon 616 processor w/ Adreno 405 GPU and, comes with 3GB RAM and 32GB on-board storage, further expandble via microSD card (up to 128GB). For photography, it gets 13-megapixel rear camera with LED flash, PDAF and 8-megapixel front camera. It is backed by 2550mAh battery and supports 4G LTE, 3G, WiFi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.1 and GPS connectivity.

The vivo V3 Max as the name suggests is bigger and upgraded variant of the vivo V3. It flaunts a 5.5-inch Full HD (1920 x 1080 pixels) 2.5D curved Corning Gorilla glass display and is powered by octa-core Snapdragon 652 processor with Adreno 510 GPU. It comes with 4GB RAM and is fueled by 3000mAh battery, which supports Qualcomm’s Quick Charge 2.0 fast charging technology.  Rest of the specs are similar to V3.

The vivo V3 and V3 Max are priced at Rs. 17,980 and Rs. 23,980, and will go on sale in the country later this month.
