Xiaomi reportedly working on a 4.3-inch phone w/ Snapdragon 820 SoC
It's not just Xiaomi's 5.7-inch Mi Note 2 rumors hitting the inter-web coming out of China, but also of a compact 4.3-inch handset, which the Chinese smartphone maker will pit against Apple's iPhone SE.
Just like Apple, Xiaomi will not make any compromise when it comes to specs, and pack high-end hardware inside it, even though it's a compact Android handset.
The 4.3-inch Xiaomi handset will offer HD (1280 x 720 pixels) resolution and powered by Qualcomm's flagship Snapdragon 820 SoC with 3GB RAM and 32GB storage. Other rumored features include 13MP rear camera with OIS, LED flash, Fingerprint sensor and a 2350mAh battery with Quick Charge 3.0 support. The report says that, the 4.3-inch handset is internally named as Xiaomi M2 SE.
In addition, a image claiming to show the 4.3-inch Xiaomi device surfaced online, but turned out be fake.
Xiaomi's 4.3-inch handset is expected to be released in June and will cost around CNY 1799 ($276 | Rs. 18,500). Again, Xiaomi has not mentioned anything about such a handset, so do take this with a grain of salt.
