ZUK Z2 Pro with Snapdragon 820 SoC, 4GB/6GB RAM gets official
Lenovo's sub-brand ZUK has introduced its latest flagship product, the ZUK Z2 Pro in China. The Z2 pro sports a 3D floating glass design and has metal frame that gives it a premium look.
The phone has a physical home button with U-Touch 2.0 fingerprint sensor embedded into it, that can unlock the device in just 0.1 seconds and promises accuracy rate of 99.7 percent. It also comes with 10 smart sensors, including a UV sensor for sun exposure, and a heart rate sensor on the back and is also capable of measuring blood oxygen levels.
The ZUK Z2 Pro features 5.2-inch Full HD (1920 x 1080 pixels) Super AMOLED 2.5D curved glass display and is powered by 2.15GHz quad-core Snapdragon 820 processor further aided by Adreno 530 GPU, 4GB RAM and 64GB (UFS 2.0) inbuilt storage. There is a more power model (Exclusive Edition) that packs 6GB RAM and 128GB storage (UFS 2.0). It runs Android 6.0 Marshmallow with ZUI 2.0 on top that also lets you sync with Apple's iCloud.
For photography, the Z2 Pro gets 13-megapixel ISOCELL rear camera with dual-tone LED flash, OIS, 1.34μm pixel size, f/1.8 aperture and Hybrid PDAF that can focus in 0.1 seconds. For clicking selfies and video calling, you geta 8-megapixel 1.4μm pixel size front snapper with f/2.0 aperture.
Connectivity duties are handled by 4G LTE (w/ VoLTE), WiFi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac, Bluetooth 4.2, GPS and USB 3.1 Type-C port. It is fueled by 3100mAh battery with support for Qualcomm's Quick Charge 3.0.
The ZUK Z2 Pro 6GB RAM w/ 128GB storage is priced at CNY 2699 ($416 | Rs. 27,630) and will be up for order via ZUK website starting April 22 in China. The pricing of ZUK Z2 Pro 4GB RAM w/ 64GB storage is not known, but will be available for order from May 10.
