Garmin introduces vivosmart HR+ activity tracker with GPS
Garmin has launched an upgraded version of vivosmart HR activity tracker called vivosmart HR+. The new model comes with built-in GPS and new features.
With GPS support, the fitness tracker can now accurately track distance, time and place for activities, and users can view a map of their activity on Garmin Connect (mobile app). The wearable comes with an always on, sunlight-readable display that shows the fitness stats, and the device has 5 ATM water rating, making it waterproof for up to 50 meters, and offers up to five days of battery life.
The display, besides showing fitness stats also shows notifications for calls, messages, emails and more, and control music when connected with compatible device. It will also alert users when they have been inactive for too long via vibration alert and also send a signal to help locate their smartphone when they’ve misplaced it.
The Garmin vivosmart HR+ is priced at $220 and is now available for purchase from company website. It comes in regular size black/shark fin gray, imperial purple/kona purple and midnight blue/bolt blue, and an extra-large black/shark fin gray band.
