Gole1 is a smartphone-sized 5-inch dual boot AIO PC with touch screen
China based company Gole is currently raising funds for a compact 5-inch all-in-one PC called Gole1 that dual-boots Windows 10 and Android Lollipop, with support for Google Play Store. The project is launched on Indiegogo and the goal is to reach $30,000, but has already raised $86,481 with 10 days to go.
The Gole1 has a 5-inch HD (1280 x 720 pixels) touch screen display and is powered Intel Atom x5-Z8300 Cherry Trail processor, and comes in 2GB or 3GB RAM, along with 32GB or 64GB internal storage. There's also an optional 2.5-inch hard drive case that magnetically connects to the PC, and extend storage by up to 2TB.
The mini PC comes with 3 x USB 2.0 port, a USB 3.0 port, a micro USB port, and HDMI port, a Ethernet port, 3.5mm jack and microSD card slot. For wireless connectivity it includes WiFi 802.11 b/g/n and Bluetooth 4.0 w/ external antenna. It is backed by 2600mAh battery, which is rated to deliver two hours on mixed usage.
The company says that Gole1 can be used for office works, connect with projector to do presentation, and by connecting to TV you can play games and stream videos from YouTube, Netflix, Hulu and other video streaming services.
The Gole1 with 2GB RAM + 32GB storage is priced at $79, while the 4GB RAM + 64GB storage model is available for $199. The company is expected to ship the Gole1 to Indiegogo backers by July 2016.
