HP EliteBook 1030 boasts edge-to-edge display, 13 hours battery life
HP has launched a update EliteBook series laptop dubbed EliteBook 1030, targeted at business users. The laptop has a diamond-cut all metal design with military-grade certification, and comes with backlit spill resistant keyboard. It sports 13.3-inch edge-to-edge display and has a layer of Corning's Gorilla glass on top of it.
The base model will have Full HD (1920 x 1080 pixels) display, Core M5-6Y54 processor and 128GB SSD. The top model comes with QHD (3200 x 1800 pixels) touch screen display, Core M7-6Y75 processor, up to 512GB SSD storage and up to 16GB RAM. It runs Windows 10.
The EliteBook 1030 has a USB Type-C port, 2 x USB 3.0 ports, HDMI port, headset jack, Miracast, Bluetooth 4.2, Bang & Olufsen powered speakers and fingerprint scanner. It offer 13 hours of batter life. HP says that EliteBook 1030 offers the "industry's first self-healing PC BIOS with runtime monitoring."
The HP EliteBook 1030 is priced at $1249 (Rs. 84,000) and will go on sale in the U.S later this month.
