Samsung Galaxy S7 Active specifications detailed, packs 4000mAh battery
Samsung and U.S carrier AT&T are expected to launch a ruggedized version of Galaxy S7 flagship, dubbed Galaxy S7 Active. Live images of the handset have already appeared online and now Evan Blass has shared a few details about the upcoming smartphone.
According to Blass the Galaxy S7 Active will feature 5.5-inch Quad HD Super AMOLED display, Snapdragon 820 SoC w/ Adreno 530 GPU, 4GB RAM, 32GB internal storage (expandable via microSD card), 12MP rear camera w/ LED flash, 5MP front camera, NFC and a 4000mAh battery. It runs Android Marshmallow, measures 9.9mm thick and weighs 185g.
Since, the Galaxy S7 Active sports a rugged design, its is likely to be dust & water resistant, and have military-grade MIL-STD-810G protection, which means it will be drop and shock resistant.
The Sasmung Galaxy S7 Active will be exclusive to AT&T and is expected to be announced on June 10.
