Seagate launches Plus Ultra Slim HDD in India, prices start at Rs. 5,699

Seagate has launched the world slimmest 2TB portable hard drive, the Backup Plus Ultra Slim in India. It measures 9.6mm around the waist and is 50 percent slimmer than the other 2TB hard drives available in the market. In addition to 2TB, there is also an 1TB variant of the protable hard drive as well.

The Seagate Backup Plus Ultra Slim portable hard drive is capable of storing 320,000 photos, 500,000 songs or 240 hours of HD videos. It comes with 200GB of free Microsoft OneDrive cloud storage and Lyve software which lets you organize and backup the media on the hard drive and make it accessible on any device via the cloud. It also comes with Seagate Dashboard software, which lets you schedule backups.

The Seagate Backup Plus Ultra Slim hard drive 1TB variant is priced at Rs. 5,699, while the 2TB variant costs Rs. 8,399. It comes in Gold or Platinum metallic colors and is exclusively available on Amazon India.
