ZUK Z2 clears TENAA with 5-inch display, Snapdragon 820 SoC
Lenovo's sub-brand ZUK has scheduled an event in China for May 31, for the launch of ZUK Z2, an affordable version of ZUK Z2 Pro. Now ahead of the unveiling, the ZUK Z2 has been certified by China's Telecom Authority TENAA, revealing images and specifications.
Most of these specs were already revealed before, and the TENAA listing does not add anything new. As per the TENAA listing the ZUK Z2 will feature 5-inch 1080p display w/ 2.5D curved glass on top, and equipped with Snapdragon 820 SoC, 3GB/4GB RAM, 32GB/64GB internal storage (non-expandable), 13MP rear camera, 8MP front camera, USB Type-C and pack 3500mAh battery.
It will run Android Marshmallow and come with fingerprint sensor that will be integrated into the home button.
In addition, there is a variant of the smartphone that will be powered by Samsung's Exynos 8 Octa 8890 processor, the same used in Galaxy S7 series.
The ZUK Z2 rumored prices start at CNY 1799 ($275 | Rs. 18,500) for the base model. All the official details will be known next Tuesday.
