Entry level $80 LG K3 with Android Marshmallow announced
LG has added a new member to its 'K' series family in the form of the affordable entry-level K3 running Android 6.0 Marshmallow, making it one of the most affordable handset available in the U.S with the Google's latest mobile device operating system.
The LG K3 sports a 4.5-inch FWVGA (480 x 854 pixels) IPS display and is powered by 1.1GHz quad-core Snapdragon 21- processor with 1GB RAM and 8GB internal storage, with microSD card support (up to 32GB). It offers 5-megapixel rear camera with LED and VGA front facing camera, and the cameras come with features like Gesture Shot and Gesture Shot interval. For connectivity there's 4G LTE, 3G, WiFi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.0 and GPS support. It is backed by 1940mAh battery.
The LG K3 is priced at $80 (Rs. 5,500) and is now available from Boost Mobile and Virgin Mobile in the U.S. The K3 joins, the K4, K5 and K7, K8 and K10, out of which the K7 and K10 already available for purchase in India.
