LeEco Le Max 2 Pro with Snapdragon 821 SoC, 8GB RAM launch expected in June 29
LeEco is teasing a product launch event in China on 29. The teaser image doesn't reveal anything about the upcoming product, but according to reports the LeMax 2 Pro flagship will be unveiled at the event.
The Le Max 2 Pro will be the world's first smartphone to utilize Qualcomm's Snapdragon 821 SoC. It's worth mentioning that the Le Max 2 was the world's first phone to packs Snapdragon 820 SoC.
The Snapdragon 820 and 821 SoC use the same 14nm chips with 4 x Qualcomm's Kyro CPU cores and Adreno 530 GPU. However, the difference is in the clock speed, while the Snapdragon 820 has a top speed of 2.2GHz, the Snapdragon 821 has 2.3GHz.
The LeEco Le Max 2 Pro will also be the world's first phone to pack 8GB RAM. Currently phones offer 6GB RAM. It is also rumored to have 5.7-inch QHD display, 128GB internal storage, 25-megapixel rear camera and 8-megapixel front shooter.
Similar to the Le Max 2, the Le Max 2 Pro will skip the 3.5mm audio jack in favor of CDLA USB Type-C audio port. In addition to Silver and Grey, the Le Max 2 Pro will be available in Blue and Red colors.
The rumored pricing of Le Max 2 Pro is CNY 3000 ($455 | Rs. 31,000).
