Instagram will soon have a text translation button

Popular photo sharing platform Instagram has announced that it will add text translation feature on its app, that will be available next month. Once activated, you'll see a "See Translation" button that automatically translates captions and comments on posts in Feed or profile bios to the language you prefer.

Initially 24 languages will be supported, but Instagram has not revealed a specific time frame on when its going to roll out the feature next month. However, the tranlations won't be available for older posts and comments.

The translation feature will bring Instagram in line with other social networking platform such as Twitter and Facebook, that already allows for translation.

Meanwhile, Instagram earlier this week announced that it has more than 500 million monthly users, and 300 daily active users.
