Windows 10 Mobile-powered NuAns Neo headed to Kickstarter for global launch
Japan based smartphone maker NuAns last year released the Windows 10 Mobile powered Neo smartphone in Japan featuring a unique design. The phone is currently limited to Japan, and NuAns plan now is to launch it globally.
For the global realese, NuAns will launch the NuAns Neo on Kickstarter starting last wekk of June, allowing interested buyers to pre-order the phone. Unfortunately the global pricing and release date was not revealed.
The unique feature of NuAns Neo is its rear panel customization, giving it a personalized look. The phone comes with swappable "TWOTONE" back covers, allowing you to choose different textures and colors for both the top and bottom of the rear side. NuAns also offers Flip covers that automatically wakes the phone when opened.
As for the specs, the NuAns Neo features 5-inch HD display, Snapdragon 617 processor, 2GB RAM, 16GB internal storage, 13MP rear camera, 5MP front camera, USB Type-C port and 3350mAh battery. It also supports Windows 10 Mobile's Continuum feature, which allows the phone to be used as a desktop PC when connected to large screen. In Japan NuAns Neo costs $378 (Rs. 23,000), but we can expect the price to be slight higher when released globally.
