Xiaomi Mi 5s to come with pressure sensitive display, ultrasonic fingerprint reader; Mi Note 2 to arrive in three variants


A rumor coming out of China suggests that Xiaomi is working on a more powerful upgraded model of Mi 5, which will reportedly launch as Mi 5s in the second half of this year.

The Xiaomi Mi 5s is expected to come with pressure-sensitive display, which will offer Apple's 3D Force Touch like functionalities. It will also rumored to have an ultra-sonic fingerprint sensor from Qualcomm, a dual-camera setup on the back, Snapdragon 820/821/823 SoC and 6GB RAM. The design and Other specs are said to be similar to Mi 5 including the 5.15-inch 1080p display.

Along with Mi 5s, Xiaomi is also reportedly working on Mi Note successor dubbed Mi Note 2. It is rumored to arrive in three variants, with the top-end model to flaunt a curved display, dual-camera setup and support WiFi Lite. All the three models will feature Hi-Fi audio, and quick charge feature for the battery. The launch is expected in Q3 2016.

It's worth mentioning that nothing is confirmed as of now, so take the rumors with a pinch of salt.
