LeEco partners with six retail chains to boost offline presence in India

LeEco set foot into Indian market earlier this year, and teamed up with Flipkart to sell its smartphones. Last month the Chinese tech giant entered offline retail space by selling Le 1s in New Delhi and Mumbai.

Now in a bid to expand its offline presence further, LeEco has announced key partnerships with six regional retail chains to sell its products across the country. The include partnerships with top Regional retail chains like Sangeetha, Poorvika, and zonal distributors including Shivalik, AppsYouNeed, Pearl Infotech and PCH. It also plans to add more partners in the future.

Through these partnership, LeEco aims to expand its retail base in the country to 2,000 outlets across 65 cities. By the year end, LeEco aims to reach a total of 6,000 to 8,000 retail outlets.

Initially LeEco will start selling Le 1s and Le 1S Eco superphones offline in the first phase and plans to sell its entire product portfolio in the offline market in the coming months.

LeEco also plans to increase the number of service centers in the country in addition to its current 555 outlets.
