ZTE Blade V6, Axon mini smartphones launched in India
ZTE has launched two new smartphones in India dubbed Blade V6 and Axon mini priced at Rs. 9,999 and Rs. 23,599 respectively. The company has not opted for online-only sales channel, instead, both Blade V6 and Axon mini will be available from retail stores across the country.
The ZTE Blade V6 is targeted at the budget audience, while Axon mini is a high-end offering. Both run Android Lollipop with Mi Favor UI on top, and has dual-SIM, 4G LTE with support for India's TDD-LTE band 40 and FDD-LTE band 3 networks.Design-wise, both offer a unibody metal design, while the Axon mini has 7.9mm slim aircraft-grade aluminum alloy body.
The ZTE Blade V6 features 5-inch HD (1280 x 720 pixels) IPS display and is powered by 1.3GHz quad-core MediaTek MT6735 processor coupled with Mali-T720 GPU and 2GB RAM. There's 16GB inbuilt-storage, which can be expanded via microSD card. The camera department is handled by 13-megapixel rear unit with LED flash, and 5-megapixel front camera. Connectivity duties are handled by 4G LTE, WiFi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.1 and GPS connectivity. It is fueled by 2200mAh battery.
The ZTE Axon mini offers 5.2-inch Full HD (1920 x 1080 pixels) AMOLED 2.5D curved display and is equipped with octa-core Snapdragon 616 processor w/ Adreno 405 GPU, 3GB RAM, and 32GB internal storage, which can be expanded via microSD card. It gets 13-megapixel rear camera with LED flash, PDAF, and front facing 8-megapixel camera. For connectivity there's 4G LTE, WiFi 802.11ac, Blutooth 4.0 and GPS. It also includes fingerprint scanner and Eyeprint ID eye-scan, voice control for security and is backed by 2800mAh battery.
