ZTE outs Fresh 4 with 5.2-inch display, Android Marshmallow


Chinese smartphone maker ZTE has announced a new budget smartphone dubbed Fresh 4 in China. It is the successor of Fresh 3 that was as launched as Blade X6 in international markets, so we can assume Fresh 4 to be part of Blade line up, when it hits international market.

The ZTE Fresh 4 features 5.2-inch Full HD (1920 x 1080 pixels) 2.5D curved glass display and is powered by 1.5GHz octa-core MediaTek MT6753 processor paired with Mali T720 GPU and 2GB RAM. There's 16GB of internal storage, which can be expanded via microSD card. It runs Android Marshmallow with MiFavor 3.5 UI on top and houses hybrid dual SIM slots, which means, the second slot accepts either SIM card or microSD card.

The camera is department is handled by 13-megapixel rear camera with dual-tone LED flash, PDAF. Selfies and video calls are handled by a 5-megapixel front camera. For connectivity, there's 4G LTE, 3G HSPA+, WiFi, Bluetooth and GPS support. It is fueled by 2450mAh battery, and also includes a fingerprint scanner at the back for security. All this is packed into a 7.5mm slim metal body.

The ZTE Fresh 4 carries the price tag of CNY 1090 ($162 | Rs. 11,000) and comes in gold, silver and rose gold color options. The phone is now available for order via Tmall in China and goes on sale starting from July 26th.
