Amazon reportedly planning to launch $5 Echo only music service
Back in June this year, a report claimed that Amazon is planning to launch music streaming service. Now according to Recode, Amazon is working two music streaming services.
In line with previous report, the new report says that one of the music streaming services will be similar to Apple Music, Spotify and will be priced at $9.99.
While the second music streaming service will be cheaper and more affordable. This service will be available only for Amazon Echo users and cost just $5 per month. The service would offer unlimited ad-free music to users of music streaming devices such as Amazon Echo, Amazon Tap or Echo Dot.
Amazon is expected to launch the service as early as next month, but has yet to finalize deals with major recording labels, the report added.
The company already offers Amazon Music to subscribers of its Amazon Prime service priced at $99 a year.
