Google's video calling app 'Duo' is out for Android and iOS
Google introduced its video calling app Duo at this year's Google I/O event. Now the app has been released for Android and iOS devices. Duo is a simple video calling app, which lets you make one-to-one video calling. It relies on your mobile number and lets you make video calls with anyone in your contacts list.
Google claims that Duo works seamlessly without any interruption even on slower network connections. This is because, the app is optimized to automatically adjust video quality for slower internet connection.
The app also offers privacy and security, as all video called are end-to-end encrypted. For video calls on the go, Duo will switch between WiFi and cellular data automatically without dropping the call.
It also has a feature called Knock Knock, which gives you personalized preview of the caller before you pick up the call.
Google said that Duo will start rolling out today and will be live worldwide in the coming days.
