Micromax launches Canvas 32-inch, 40-inch and 50-inch Smart TVs starting at Rs. 19,999


Micromax has launched new range of Canvas series LED TVs, which comes in 32-inch, 40-inch and 50-inch screen sizes starting at Rs. 19,999.

The new Canvas Smart TVs runs the company's Smart OS based on Android and come pre-loaded with Google Play Store, and gives you access to apps like Twitter, Gmail, Netflix, Facebook and YouTube. They also feature Miracast support, M! Connect and Home-share.

Home Share: For network data sharing between members of a home group. Media like Videos, Music and Images can be shared via LAN or WiFi

Miracast: Users can cast the mobile screen on TV to watch internet videos like You tube and Netflix

M! Screen/ M! Connect: Android application can be installed on Canvas Smart phone that controls the CANVAS TV with the following options – 
  • Smart Remote: A replica of TV remote on user’s Smart Phone.
  • Track Pad: A virtual mouse on user’s Smart Phone
  • Media Share: User can transmit content on the Smart Phone, like Videos, Images and Music on LED TV via WiFi.
  • TV Mirror: User can take the TV screen to his Smart phone, to not to miss a single moment of live TV
  • Game Control: User can control Android Games thru his Smart Phone’s G Sensor

As for the specs, the 32-inch Canvas Smart TV flaunts 720p screen, while the 40- and 50-inch models have 1080p displays. They are powered by MSD628 quad-core Cortex A9 processor with Mali 450 GPU, 1GB RAM and 4GB inbuilt storage. They also include 3 X HDMI ports and 3 X USB ports, WiFi 802.11n, WiFi Direct and Ethernet for connectivity.

Coming to the price, the 32-inch Canvas Smart TV is priced at Rs. 19,999, 40-inch at Rs. 29,999 and the 50-inch is offered at Rs. 42,999. The TVs are now up for pre-order exclusively on Flipkart and will go on sale starting August 14.
