Oppo F1s with 16MP selfie camera launched in India for Rs. 17,990


Earlier this year, Chinese smartphone maker Oppo launched the selfie-centric F1 and F1 Plus. Now the company has the successor, the Oppo F1s in India with improved camera specs, and premium metal unibody build.

Similar to its predecessor, the main highlight of Oppo F1s is the front facing camera. It gets 16-megapixel selfie camera with 1/3.1-inch sensor which according to Oppo captures photos with vivid details and depth. It comes with the latest Beautify 4.0 version, which offers seven beautify level and two skin tone modes. The front camera also features Selife Panorama perfect for capturing group photos and upgraded Screen flash function, which can now automatically select appropriate brightness level depending on the surroundings.

As for the other specs, the Oppo F1s sports 5.5-inch HD (1280 x 720 pixels) IPS display with Corning Gorilla Glass 4 protection and is powered by 1.5GHz octa-core MediaTek MT6750 processor backed Mali T860 GPU and 3GB RAM. On-board storage is 32GB, which can be expanded via microSD card (up to 128GB). 

It gets 13-megapixel rear camera with LED flash and PDAF. For connectivity there's support for dual-SIM, 4G LTE, WiFi 802.11 a/b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.0 and GPS. Software-wise, the phone runs Android 5.1 Lollipop with ColorOS 3.0 on top. It is fueled by 3075mAh battery and packs a fingerprint sensor, which is embedded into the home button.

The Oppo F1 is priced at Rs. 17,990 and will be up for pre-order from August 4 till August 10. It will go on sale starting August 11 in stores across Delhi, Mumbai, Bangalore, Kolkata, Trivandrum, Bhopal, Ludhiana, Gurgaon, Vijaywada, Hyderabad, Ghaziabad and Ahmedabad. It will also be available for purchase online exclusively through Amazon India.
