Tizen powered Samsung Z2 with Jio Preview offer reportedly launching in India on August 11

Just a few days back the Samsung Z2 (SM-Z200F) Tizen OS running smartphone showed up at Galaxy Note7's launch event in Africa. Now if a new report is to be believed, the Samsung Z2 will be launched in India alongside Galaxy Note7 on August 11.

The Tizen-OS powered handset will be priced Rs. 4,499 and is rumored to come with free 90-day Jio Preview offer, that is available for select Samsung smartphones. The Jio Preview offer will include unlimited voice calls, 4G data and access to the Jio Apps Suite. The Samsung Z2 is expected to come pre-loaded with Jio's app like Jio Play, Jio Music, Jio Drive and Jio Money.

Apart from India, the Samsung Z2 will also be heading to Bangladesh, Nepal, Sri Lanka, Indonesia, South Africa, Nigeria and Kenya.

As for the specs, earlier rumors suggest the Samsung Z2 to have 4-inch AMOLED display, 1GB RAM, dual-SIM slots, 4G with VoLTE and S Bike mode. It will run Tizen OS 3.0.

Samsung is also rumored to launch the Galaxy A9 Pro, alongside Galaxy Note7, Samsung Z2 on August 11.
