ZUK Z2 coming to India next month as Lenovo Z2 Plus
Lenovo launched the ZUK Z1 in India earlier this year in India. Now the brand is teasing the launch of a new ZUK phone on its twitter handle with the slogan – Impatience is a Virtue and #FastForward.
According to media reports, the new ZUK smartphone for the Indian market will be Z2 Plus, which is re-branded ZUK Z2 that was introduced back in May. Unfortunately the launch date is not known, but it will happen in September.
The Z2 Plus will pack flagship grade specs at a competitive price. The specs include 5-inch 1080p 2.5D curved glass display, Snapdragon 820 SoC, 4GB RAM, 64GB storage, 13MP rear camera, 5MP front camera, fingerprint scanner, dual-SIM slots, 4G LTE, USB Type-C and 3500mAh battery. It will run Android Marshmallow and flaunts metal body.
In China the ZUK Z2 (or Z2 Plus) sells for CNY 1799, which is around Rs. 18,000 when converted to INR. If Z2 Plus launches in India with the same price tag, it would be the cheapest Snadragon 820 powered smartphone in the country.
