Apple upgrades storage options for iPhone 6s/6s Plus, iPad, iPad Pro


A day ago, Apple unviled the iPhone 7 and iPhone 7 Plus. As reported earlier, the new iPhone's base model comes with 32GB storage instead of 16GB storage, so users will get more space to save apps, photos, videos, music and more. Additionally Apple also replaced the 16GB base model of iPhone 6s, iPhone 6s Plus and the iPad line, with 32GB storage option, to bring the devices in line with the iPhone 7/iPhone 7 Plus.

The iPhone 6s and iPhone 6s Plus are now listed on Apple's website only in 32GB and 128GB storage options. The iPhone 6s 32GB and 128GB storage models are priced at $549 and $649 respectively, while the iPhone 6s Plus will be available for $649 and $749 respectively. However the base model of the compact iPhone SE is still available with 16GB and 64GB storage.

As for the iPads,the 9.7-inch iPad Pro and 12.9-inch iPad Pro, are now available with 32GB, 128GB and 256GB storage options, while the iPad Air 2 and iPad mini 4 comes in 32GB and 128GB storage models. The iPad mini 2 will be available with only a single 32GB storage model.

Meanwhile, in the U.S Apple has quietly slashed  prices of the iPad Pro model by $50 and $100 for the 128GB and 256GB models respectively. The iPad Pro 9.7-inch has received the biggest price cut and is now available for $599, $699 and $799 for the 32GB, 128GB and 256GB models. Similarly the 12.9-inch iPad Pro now costs $799, $899 and $999 respectively.

The 32GB iPad Air 2 and iPad mini 4 now costs $399, while the 128GB model of both the tablets are priced $499. The iPad Mini 2 32GB model is priced at $269. Note that the revised prices is yet to take effect in India. Here's the revised pricing of iPad line up:
