GoPro announces foldable Karma drone, priced at $799


After much delay, GoPro has finally introduced their first drone called Karma, along with the new HERO5 action cameras.

GoPro's Karma lets you take aerial shots with the GoPro camera, and the main highlight is its portability. The drone has a compact design and can be folded and placed in its dedicated backpack. It comes with a game-style touchscreen controller, which means you don't require a smartphone or tablet to control the drone, since the controller, will simultaneously provide you a live video feed.

The drone also features a 3-axis camera stabilizer which can be detached from the drone and attached to the included Karma Grip for capturing handheld and gear-mounted footage.

  • Karma without a GoPro camera for $799.99 MSRP (Rs. 54,000)
  • Karma bundled with HERO5 Black for $1099.99 MSRP Rs. 75,000)
  • Karma bundled with HERO5 Session for $999.99 MSRP (Rs. 67,000) [available in early 2017]
