HTC Bolt leaked render suggest no headphone jack

Earlier this week HTC launched two new Desire series smartphones dubbed Desire 10 LifeStyle and Desire 10 Pro. Now the company is rumored to be working on a new smartphone dubbed Bolt, which is expected to be released in the U.S by Sprint later this year.

Evan Blass also known as @evleaks, has shared a press render of the HTC Bolt, giving us the first look at the phone.

As seen in the render, the HTC Bolt will have a design almost similar to HTC 10 including the metal unibody design, chamfered edges,  positioning of antenna lines and a home button below the display, which doubles as fingerprint scanner.

However, the front camera module and rear flash module has been re-positioned. The front camera now sits on the left side of the earpiece, and the rear flash is positioned right above the upper  antenna line. The microSD and SIM card slots are on the left side.

The most surprising change is that, the Bolt will not have a 3.5mm headphone jack, instead rely on USB Type-C port for audio output via earphones, which is a first for HTC smartphones.

As of now, the specifications, release data and pricing of HTC Bolt is not known. However, he date and location in the render suggest that the Bolt will be unveiled on October 18 in New York city.
