Samsung reportedly working on Galaxy C5 Pro, C7 Pro and C9

Samsung's Galaxy C series is yet to make its way out of China, but the company has reportedly started work on three new C series smartphone. These are C5 Pro, C7 Pro and C9.

The Galaxy C5 Pro and C7 Pro carries the model number SM-C5010 and SM-C7010 respectively and as the name suggests will be an upgraded model of Galaxy C5 and Galaxy C7, which were unveiled in China earlier this year.

The Galaxy C9 is codenamed 'Amy' and was spotted on India's import-export website Zauba carrying the model number SM-C9000 and having a screen size of 6-inch. A total of two units were imported into the country for testing and the declared value is Rs. 17,107 for each unit.

As of now other details of these phones are scarce, but we can expect more details to come out in the coming weeks. To recap the specs, the Galaxy C5 had 5.2-inch 1080p display, Snapdragon 617 SoC and 4GB RAM, while the Galaxy C7 featured a bigger 5.7-inch 1080p display, Snapdragon 625 SoC and 4GB RAM. Both the Galaxy C5 and C7 flaunted metal body, so it likely that the C5 Pro, C7 Pro and C9 will also have metal body.

Over the past few months Samsung has been aggressively releasing mid-range A, J and On series phones world-wide. Just recently the company launched the Galaxy J5 Prime, Galaxy J7 Prime and Galaxy A9 Pro in India.
