Latest Xiaomi Mi 5s teaser boasts impressive AnTuTu benchmark score

Xiaomi is expected to launch a more powerful version of Mi 5 dubbed Mi 5s in China on September 27. Ahead of the unveiling, the company has released a teaser that shows the number 164119, which could be the AnTuTu performance score of Mi 5s. A recent Mi 5s leak revealed a score of over 164,000 on AnTuTu, so it is more likely that Xiaomi is teasing the phone's performance in its latest teaser.

According to rumor-mill, the Mi 5s will be powered by Snapdragon 821 SoC and pack 6GB RAM, and given the processing power and higher RAM, it isn't surprising to see Mi 5s score high on AnTuTu. For comparison, LeEco's latest Snapdragon 821 powered Le Pro 3 flagship with 6GB RAM managed to score just above 163,000 on AnTuTu.

Besides teasing the phones performance, the teaser further asks "What new high-end technology Xiaomi _S has in addition to performance", hinting at Qualcomm's under glass Ultrasonic fingerprint sensor and pressure-sensitive 3D Touch display.

As far as other specs are concerned, the Mi 5s is rumored to feature 5.15-inch 1080p display, NFC (with Mi Pay support, Android Marshmallow and 3490mAh battery. It is expected to arrive in three RAM/storage variants of 3GB/64GB, 4GB/128GB and 6GB/256GB. The phone is expected to have 16MP rear camera, however, there are rumors that it will have dual-rear camera.

There are also rumors of Mi 5s coming in two more screen sizes in addition to 5.15-inch screen: one with a compact 4-inch, and the other Mi 5 Plus with 5.7-inch QHD display. At this point it's just a rumor so take it with a pinch of salt.
